VidTech Platform

About the Project
Objective
VidTech was designed to automate branded media creation for the commercial real estate (CRE) industry. The platform enables teams to instantly generate marketing-ready image and video assets by merging property visuals, agent details, and brand templates into dynamic, on-demand creatives. The goal was to replace manual design bottlenecks with an intelligent system capable of producing hundreds of high-quality assets in minutes — tailored for each listing and marketing channel.

Challenges & Solutions
Built by our partner company, through our agreement with Ommega.io we can source this same talent to build your platform. One of the central challenges was building a scalable templating engine that could dynamically merge listing data, agent information, and media assets into both images and videos — without requiring manual design work. To solve this, a JSON-driven templating framework was developed, allowing users to define reusable layouts that adapt content and branding on the fly.
Automating video generation at scale introduced additional complexity around performance and concurrency. The backend leveraged Python and Node.js microservices orchestrated through AWS Lambda to handle parallel rendering jobs using FFmpeg. This enabled near real-time rendering of large batches of assets, supporting hundreds of listings processed simultaneously.
The platform also needed a user-friendly interface that supported content approval, template management, and output customization. A React-based dashboard was built with drag-and-drop galleries, inline editing tools, and live preview capabilities, empowering non-technical users to review and approve visual assets effortlessly.
Ensuring consistency in brand identity across all outputs was another major goal. VidTech’s templating system enforces brand color palettes, typography, and layout logic automatically while allowing users to customize property-specific elements. The result is a consistent, on-brand output — every time, across every property.
To support diverse marketing workflows, the platform introduced batch export tools, allowing agents to output approved assets in multiple formats (PNG, MP4, GIF) and resolutions. This ensured compatibility across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and internal listing systems without requiring external editing.
